Centimia Ltd. is a software development and R&D management services company. Throughout the years the company specialized in the financial world helping Insurance Companies, Insurance Agencies, Banks and Fintechs deliver their software base services to the market.
Centimia Ltd. was formed on 2005, working on its first major project, the development of a Mortgage Insurance System for our first customer. In the following years we have upgraded the functionality of this system and it became an enterprise Loan Management System, supporting both insurance claims processes and managing a loans complete life cycle. The resulting product remains one of our major offerings today. Throughout this project the company established its work methodologies and software frameworks that allow us to approach new projects and deliver them on time supporting high performance, security, and scalability standards.
Since 2005, building information systems for the financial sector has posed significant challenges—selecting the right tools to create systems that are robust, scalable, quick to deploy, easy to configure, and simple to maintain. At that time, few frameworks could meet all these demands, so we built our own. Today, while several frameworks exist, the Centimia Framework remains a powerful and pragmatic solution.
Since the financial sector was (and still is...) heavily invested in Java, our tools are java tools for java environments. The Centimia Framework originated as a configuration and IoC (Inversion of Control) tool. Its core foundation consists of two primary components: the Configurator and the CCoreFactory, upon which nearly all other modules are built.
The framework has very little external dependencies and is light weight.
